Our Legacy
Hayat Gems: Manufacturer & Exporter of Natural Gemstone Jewellery
Discover the world's finest Natural Gemstone Jewellery. From the ethical mines of Africa to our precision workshop in Jaipur, we control the entire process to bring you certified, investment-grade precious stones without the retail markup.
Three Generations of Lapidary Excellence
The story of Hayat Gems is deeply woven into the history of Jaipur, the global capital of gemstone cutting. Our journey in crafting authentic precious stone jewellery did not begin in a corporate boardroom; it began in 1975, in a small, dust-filled workshop in the heart of the Johari Bazaar.
Founded by my Grandfather, a visionary artisan, the company started with a single cutting wheel. He sat at a wooden bench, cutting rough Emeralds by hand, teaching my father the art of patience and precision required for high-quality certified gemstone jewellery.
This legacy was passed down to my father, and now to me, Mohammad Hayat. Over the decades, we evolved from local artisans to a verified Global Manufacturer & Exporter. Today, Hayat Gems stands as a global guarantee of authenticity.

Celebrating the Soul of Every Stone
Mohammad Hayat | CEO & Master Gemologist"My passion for gemstones is deeply rooted in our family legacy. I am drawn to the raw beauty of natural gemstone jewellery—their colors, energy, and individuality—long before they become fine jewellery. To me, each natural inclusion in a stone is a fingerprint of nature, proving its authenticity in an age of lab-grown synthetics."
As the CEO of Hayat Gems, my mission is to elevate the standard of gemstone manufacturing in India. From carefully selecting ethically sourced stones to in-house precision cutting, every detail matters. We are creating bespoke pieces that are not just accessories, but secure financial investments.

The Tourmaline Authority
Hayat Gems is globally recognized as an authority on Natural Tourmaline. We hold one of the largest inventories of ethically sourced Tourmaline in India.
Masters of the Rainbow Gem
Tourmaline is the heart of our collection. As a specialized Natural Gemstone Jewellery Manufacturer, we source rough Tourmaline directly from mines in Nigeria, Mozambique, and Afghanistan. This allows us to produce exquisite bespoke pieces at prices 30-40% lower than the global retail market.
Our Expertise Includes:
- Rubellite (Red/Pink): Rare, ruby-like saturation. Perfect for statement rings.
- Indicolite (Blue): Deep ocean teals to bright lagoon blues.
- Watermelon: The rare bi-color miracle of nature.

The Hayat Gemstone Encyclopedia
To make an informed investment, you must understand the stone. Here is a guide to the natural precious stones we use in our fine jewellery.
Emerald (Panna)
Origin: Zambia, Colombia | Hardness: 7.5 Mohs
The Jewel of Kings: Emeralds are defined by their "Jardin" (Garden) – the natural inclusions that prove their authenticity. At Hayat Gems, we specialize in Zambian Emeralds, known for their incredible crystal clarity and cooler bluish-green tones compared to the warmer Colombian stones.
Manufacturing Insight: Cutting an emerald is risky due to its brittle nature. Our master cutters use the traditional "Emerald Cut" (step cut) to reduce pressure on the stone while maximizing its brilliant green saturation.
Ruby (Manik)
Origin: Mozambique | Hardness: 9 Mohs
The Investment Stone: For centuries, Rubies have symbolized power and passion. Today, they are a highly liquid financial asset. We source our rough directly from Montepuez, Mozambique. The most coveted color is "Pigeon Blood Red," a vivid red with a slight hint of blue.
Authenticity: Unlike many sellers who offer glass-filled (composite) rubies, Hayat Gems deals strictly in untreated, Natural Rubies. Every piece comes with a guarantee of authenticity, making it a safe choice for heirloom natural gemstone jewellery.
Sapphire (Neelam)
Origin: Ceylon (Sri Lanka) | Hardness: 9 Mohs
The Royal Choice: Demand for Blue Sapphire has skyrocketed globally. We stock premium "Royal Blue" and "Cornflower Blue" sapphires sourced from Sri Lanka. These stones are incredibly durable (9 Mohs), second only to diamonds, making them perfect for daily-wear engagement gemstone jewellery.
Tanzanite
Origin: Tanzania | Rarity: 1000x rarer than Diamond
A Finite Resource: Found in only one place on Earth (Merelani Hills, Tanzania), Tanzanite is a "single generation" gemstone. Mines are expected to deplete within 20 years, making it a lucrative collector's dream.
Direct Manufacturing: By importing rough Tanzanite directly and cutting it in Jaipur, we offer this exotic violet-blue stone at prices far below traditional retail markups.
